Scott Pilgrim Vs the World trailer.

This part of the trailer show a good use of Facial expressions and body language. The way the characters are positioned against a dull wall shows that the camera wants us to focus completely on the position of their bodies. making us examine the emotion their bodies are giving off and the facial expressions. From what I can tell the female character seems disinterested in what he is saying and by the way she is looking at him I feel like she is disconnected she doesn't want to be there with him.

I think this screenshot from the trailer shows an effective Lighting and colour shot. I think the director has wanted the room to be quite hidden in a mixture of dark grey and black colours, so that we get drawn to the circle light beams surrounding Scott Pilgrim. These strong uses of the light create an effective feeling towards Scott causing tension and intrigue.

This is a Positioning of characters shot. I feel like this was a very important scene in the film as the way there bodies have been positioned creates the feeling of suspense, also the built up of a important battle. The way they are placed as if they are flying up in the air ready to launch at each other makes the trailer more intriguing and inviting to the viewer.
