Maze Runner: The Scorch Trails Trailer.
1. This shot is a Extreme long shot.. The director choose to use this this shot in the film, as it establishes were the scene is taken place. I also think that this is an effective way to start a trailer, as it is creating tension.
2. The director has chosen an effective Point of view shot in this part of the trailer, showing clearly the viewpoint when someone is looking at something or someone.
3. This screenshot shows how the trailer shows a two shot. This is when two figures are in the shot, to normally see if the two characters like each other or not, in this case however these characters are completing a task together.
4. This is a Close up shot. This is when the camera is only showing you up to their head and shoulders only, this helps us have a closer look at the characters facial expressions.
5. This is a High angle shot used in the trailer. This type of shot is when the camera is high up making the characters look smaller, directors use this to make the surroundings of the characters look huge. This is very effective in this trailer as it makes us think they will never get to the place they need to go.
