Diet Coke and Coke Zero.
Diet Coke.
Diet Coke, (called Coca-Cola Light in some countries), is a sugar-free soft drink produced and distributed by The Coca-Cola Company. Unveiled on July 8, 1982 and introduced in the United States on August 9, it is the first new brand since 1886 to use the Coca-Cola trademark. In 1886, John Pemberton invented Coca-Cola and instantly it became unbelievably popular. Almost 100 years later in 1982 Diet Coke was invented. The 'Diet Coke break' had become a cultural phenomenon and Diet Coke packaging has had makeovers from the likes of Diane Von Furstenburg, Karl Lagerfeld, Moschino and Versace. In 1986, Diet Coke was labelled as the worlds top no-calorie drink. From 2001-2006, new flavours were added such as; Diet Vanilla Coke, Diet Coke with Lime and Diet Black Cherry Vanilla Coke. A popular saying that follows Diet Coke is "Diet Coke inspires everybody to regret nothing".
Coke Zero.
Coca-Cola Zero, or Coke Zero, is a product of The Coca-Cola Company. It is a low-calorie (0.3 kcal per 100ml) variation of Coca-Cola specifically marketed to men, who were shown to associate 'diet' drinks with women. It is marketed as having a taste that is indistinguishable from standard Coca-Cola, as opposed to Diet Coke which has a different flavour profile. Coke Zero was Coca-Cola's largest product launch in 22 years. The global campaign was done by creative agency Crispin Porter + Bogusky. It is primarily marketed towards young adult males and has been nicknamed "Bloke Coke" in the UK. In the U.S. The Coca-Cola Zero logo has generally featured the script Coca-Cola logo in red with white trim on a black background, with the word "zero" underneath in lower case in the geometric typeface Avenir (or a customized version of it). Some details have varied from country to country.

Features used Spiderman.
Spiderman.
In the Spiderman film they have used a lot of common features.
1. The Hero- the hero is Spiderman, he is fighting crime and protecting civilians.
2. The Villain- the villain is Green Goblin, he wants Spiderman to team up with him but when he declines The Green Goblin then wants to kill him.
4. 2nd Identity- Spiderman's second identity is Peter Parker, he spends his days working as a photographer then when crime is about he transforms into Spiderman.
Also The Green Goblin has a second Identity, Norman Osborn. He has multiply personality disorder, as he cant control when he transforms into The Green Goblin.
5. Special Effects & abilities- The Special abilities used are Spiderman's webs that shoot from his hands which enable him to attach to building and swing off them so he can fly That's Spiderman's special abilities. The Special Effects used are all the explosions in the fight scenes and the weapons and bombs the Green Goblin uses. Also the way that it looks real when Spiderman is swinging over the buildings and the Green Goblin is Flying across the sky on his board, makes the film very effective and exciting to watch.
6. Set in a big city- This film was set in New York.
7. Colourful Costumes- Spiderman and The Green Goblin both have colourful and creative costumes, Spiderman's is more of a costume with the colours red and blue where as The Green Goblin's one is more of a metal suit which is a green colour. I think that this makes it easier for the audience to figure out who the Hero is and who the Villain is, as Spiderman's costume is brighter and gives the feel of being more friendly. On the other hand The Green Goblin's costume is a darker colour and gives the impression of being sinister and less friendly.

Marvel&DC.
Marvel and DC comics.
Marvel Comics is an American comic book line published by Marvel Entertainment, Inc. Affectionately called the House of Ideas by the fan press, Marvel’s best-known comics titles include Fantastic Four, The Amazing Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, Daredevil, Thor, Captain America, and X-Men. Most of Marvel’s fictional characters reside in the Marvel Universe.
Since the 1960s, it has been one of the two largest American comics companies, along with DC Comics. Located in New York City, Marvel has been successively headquartered in the McGraw-Hill Building on West 42nd Street (where it originated as Timely Comics in 1939).
Timely Comics:
Marvel Comics was founded by established pulp-magazine publisher Martin Goodman in 1939 as an eventual group of subsidiary companies under the name Timely Comics. Its first publication was Marvel Comics #1 (Oct. 1939), featuring the second appearance of Carl Burgos’ android superhero, the Human Torch, and the first generally available appearance of Bill Everett’s mutant anti-hero Namor the Sub-Mariner. The contents of that sales blockbuster were supplied by an outside packager, funniest, Inc. However the following year Timely had a staff in place. The company’s first editor, the writer-artist Joe Simon, teamed with soon-to-be industry legend Jack Kirby to create one of the first patriotically themed superheroes, Captain America, in Captain America Comics #1 (March 1941). It, too, proved a major sales hit.
While no other Timely character would be as successful as these “big three”, some notable heroes — many continuing to appear in modern-day retcon appearances and flashbacks — include the Whizzer, Miss America, the Destroyer, the original Vision, and Paul Gustavson’s Angel. Timely also published one of humor cartoonist Basil Wolverton’s best-known features, Powerhouse Pepper.
DC Comics
DC Comics is known as the king of all comic books. It has been the leader in the industry since its start many years ago. They paved their way with their styles and strategies and many other comics book industries in America followed them such as their rival Marvel Comics. The history of DC Comics has gone on to be a huge part of American culture.
DC Comics were able to survive and continue to thrive even when there were times when they had gone through declining periods when comics books were losing interest. However, today they proved to be one of the most successful stories in the comic book industry and are a subsidiary of the Warner Brothers Entertainment and are also part of Time Warner too.
The DC Comics made a name for themselves in 1939 as they were then founded by Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson. During that time its company was known as National Allied Publications. The initials for the DC Comic books were from taken from the Detective Comic series.
With that series came the rise of Batman. There was another line of comic books, known as Action Comics, which featured a new super hero named Superman. Over the years these two super heroes became quite popular and to this day they are still two of the most popular characters to ever appear in comic books and went on to spark the way for many other super heroes.
There once was a time when this industry was under an attack during the 1950’s as they were not considered to be up to any American standards for any children and the younger generation too. This company did continue to keep its success during that time along with several other companies too, and covered some areas as westerns and romantic stories but it was their reemergence of the super heroes which would lead them to a huge recreation of what made them so successful in the comic book industry known as the Silver Age.
It was during 1965 when the industry introduced a new super hero by the name of Flash. This character was created many years before but was brought back and updated to be placed in more popular times. This time more emotional and personal compelling stories were used along with some better storyboards and artwork which helped to liven up the character. The company did the same with all the other characters too, which included batman and superman. Then shortly afterwards the Justice League society and the Justice League of America was created.
Marvel and DC differences.
The main difference between Marvel and DC comics is that DC characters don't really come from ordinary backgrounds in their life, where as Marvel characters do. Also DC is more of a fantasy fiction than Marvel, for example places such as Gotham City are not real. But in Marvel a lot of things are based in New York, obviously a real place. Also another difference is that on average Marvel makes more money for their films than DC does. Lastly Dc is more dependent on characters like Superman and Batman, but Marvel has more outgoing creative mainstream superheroes who have been given their own film..

Star Wars Diegetic&None Diegetic sounds.
Diegetic Sound: Comes from a source within the scene.
Eg- dialogue from the actors or music.
None Diegetic Sound: Sound is added to the soundtrack to heighten impact or create an emotional response.
None Diegetic shots.
1.(0:13) In this scene there is a use of None Diegetic sound. This part is very effective as it makes the viewer feel like the character is alone because of the tension the high pitched music creates, we get this feeling that everywhere is quite, dull and there is no one around. Because of the dramatic effect the audience begins to wonder what is going on, and what will happen next?
2.(0:46) In this second shot of None Diegetic Sound, a voice starts to appear and become louder than anything else going on in the scene that we can see, this helps the trailer become more exciting and creates suspense to the audience here is were we start to wonder that something is going to happen as more powerful music kicks in.
3.(1:04) In this third shot of None Diegetic Sound, the scene creates a lot of tension as the music gets very loud and powerful, it also gives off the thought that action is taking place and makes us want to watch more. This part is an important and effective part as I think this is a main point were the trailer drags you in, because of the powerfulness the music gives off the viewers will want to watch the film.
Diegetic Shots.
1(1:18) In this scene the director has used a use of Diegetic Sound, this is effective in the trailer as we can hear the sound of the ships and it creates a compelling emotion towards the viewer. It creates a big entrance as it zooms through the bright lights beams, we know that action is taking place and something is going to happen by the strength the scene gives. This makes us want to watch more and find out what is going on.
1.(1:35) In this second scene there is a use of Diegetic Sound, this part is effective as it shows the two ships shooting at each other in battle. This is very intriguing as it causes excitement and also can cause havoc as well. The viewer could have mixed emotions in this scene. The audience would enjoy this part as we want to know who will win, what spaceship destroyed the other, it could be havoc because the side that you were on, their spaceship could be the one that was demolished.
2.(1:58) The Final Diegetic Sound in this trailer is the sound of two of the main characters having a battle with their light sabers, the diegetic sound is the noise we are hearing coming from the sabers as they are being swung around and smashed together. This creates suspense and tension in the scene as we are nervous to find out who will be the last one standing and who will be defeated. This is effective because its not boring its thrilling and eye catching, making the viewer attached and wants to keep watching.

Scott Pilgrim Vs the World trailer.
This part of the trailer show a good use of Facial expressions and body language. The way the characters are positioned against a dull wall shows that the camera wants us to focus completely on the position of their bodies. making us examine the emotion their bodies are giving off and the facial expressions. From what I can tell the female character seems disinterested in what he is saying and by the way she is looking at him I feel like she is disconnected she doesn't want to be there with him.
I think this screenshot from the trailer shows an effective Lighting and colour shot. I think the director has wanted the room to be quite hidden in a mixture of dark grey and black colours, so that we get drawn to the circle light beams surrounding Scott Pilgrim. These strong uses of the light create an effective feeling towards Scott causing tension and intrigue.
This is a Positioning of characters shot. I feel like this was a very important scene in the film as the way there bodies have been positioned creates the feeling of suspense, also the built up of a important battle. The way they are placed as if they are flying up in the air ready to launch at each other makes the trailer more intriguing and inviting to the viewer.

Camera shots & angles
Maze Runner: The Scorch Trails Trailer.
1. This shot is a Extreme long shot.. The director choose to use this this shot in the film, as it establishes were the scene is taken place. I also think that this is an effective way to start a trailer, as it is creating tension.
2. The director has chosen an effective Point of view shot in this part of the trailer, showing clearly the viewpoint when someone is looking at something or someone.
3. This screenshot shows how the trailer shows a two shot. This is when two figures are in the shot, to normally see if the two characters like each other or not, in this case however these characters are completing a task together.
4. This is a Close up shot. This is when the camera is only showing you up to their head and shoulders only, this helps us have a closer look at the characters facial expressions.
5. This is a High angle shot used in the trailer. This type of shot is when the camera is high up making the characters look smaller, directors use this to make the surroundings of the characters look huge. This is very effective in this trailer as it makes us think they will never get to the place they need to go.
