Todorov's Theory

Equilbrium- The newly moved in couple Spencer ( main character ) and Jen ( main female character) are happily living together. Ex spy Spencer got out of that line of work, enjoying the life he always wanted.
Disruption- Sleepers ( killers ) were set out on Spencer, most of his friends and neighbours were trying to kill him for a good price and him and Jen needed to find Spencer's old boss to find out why, but he was already dead.
Recognition- Jen and Spencer find out that the person who killed Spencer's old boss and who set the killers on Spencer was Jen's dad, because he thought Spencer was back doing his old job and was trying to kill him.
Repair- Everything was explained and Spencer proved he was out and never wanted to go back to his old job, the sleepers ( killers ) were all killed and Spencer and Jen's dad finally trusted each other.
New Equilbrium- Spencer and Jen were married and had a baby and they were much closer and trusting with each other. Everything is better for everyone now.
